What is the Refinery ?
It is a process of wiping off the impurities from the crude oil .
Compose of impurities in the crude oil
Mechanical Impurities :This impurities will not dissolve in the oil and fat . They are main silt , meal ,fiber ,grass and other solid impurities .
Fat soluble impurities : free fatty acid , pigment , tocopherol , Hydro carbons , Wax , Ketone , and trace metal etc .
The process of palm oil refining machine
1.Degumming : It is process that we wipe off the phospholipid from the crude oil .The methodes is Hydration methods and heating 2.Deacidification : We make use of the alkali , neutralizing the free fatty acid and generate soap and water . Then the soap can absorb impurities .The method is Alkali refining method .
3. Decolorization : It is a process that we make use of the adsorbent ,extracting the pigment and other impurities from the oil and fat ,which make the oil pure . The method is activated clay adsorption 4. Deodorization : Wiping off the Smelly substance in the oil 5. Dewaxing : Using the different melting point , through the cooling , crystallize , the seperate the oil and wax by centrifugal separation 6. Fractionation : used for the palm oil when refinery
